No alarms and no surprises for 'A Moon Shaped Pool.' Just a mature Radiohead doing what they do.
After track one 'Burn The Witch' there follows a softer journey. Often dreamy... 'Day Dreaming ' is 6:24 long and builds into a cinematic end.
We like Jonny Greenwood's strings....
'Decks Dark'is instantly into a Radiohead familiar sound (vocal) But what i was always waiting for, listening to this album but didn't know it was 'Glass Eyes'.. The one track i wanted to be longer. Love it!
I always thought you could play every Radiohead song with an acoustic around a campfire. You still can and a folk sound is definately presant.
Listen to this album in the dark you'll love it. Then you'll play 'Glass Eyes' again...
