This song leaves me with conflicting emotions because I loved when Mum played it but sometimes I saw her cry. Papa had stayed in France as we moved to England as well. I suppose it's one of those songs that help people let out emotion which has to be a good thing. - fran xx

My Mum loved this album, it's because of her singing this as she made wholemeal bread in the kitchen I know every word! And I can make wholemeal bread! That was my Mum keeping her identity in the face of la baguette...
