​#WOMAN: REMAPPING THE TERRITORY. OUR WAY.

To celebrate National Poetry Day on Thursday 4th October we’ve got two exclusive pages to share from the poetry anthology #WOMAN: Remapping the Territory Our Way. #WOMAN is 50 poems from 16 female global creators. With cover and chapter illustrations by Kate Enters, Founder of ArtCan. Contributors include Salad’s Marijne van der Vlugt, Moksha, Nana Ghana, Marianna Palka, Basia Palka, Bishi, Spirit de la Mare and Salena Godden. All musing on three themes - Birth, Growth and Adolescence. Phacemag was at the launch party - along with some heroes from the period poverty charity Red Box Project, and a raucous, fun time was had by all, with authors, actors, friends and family reading poems from the book. #WOMAN’s editors, Rita Osei and Michelle Olley stepped in to close the night of readings with a spirited version of Salena Godden’s inspirational classic “Can’t Be Bovvered”, after the poet was struck down with the lurgy.
