A compilation of Godard songs entitled ‘Singing A Song in Prison’ was released last year, and featured cover versions by the likes of The Jesus and Mary Chain, Blue Orchids, Bertrand Burgalat, The Secret Goldfish and Orange Juice. Compiled by Liverpool musician and DJ Joe McKechnie, all profits from the album sales will go to Amnesty International, in memory of Vic’s wife George.
