About The Cave Club
Evolving from Southend’s infamous Junk Club, The Cave Club re-grouped and moved to the capital to set up at the Buffalo Bar in Islington in 2007. After seven era defining years of its monthly residency, Cave was forced to move to pastures new after it was announced that the venue on Highbury Corner was shut down in December 2014.
Now one of London’s most loved and revered underground nights, The Cave Club has inspired many and been at the forefront of all things good in the capital’s ever changing nightlife.
Not only the best place in the city to dance, but bands such as TOY, The Voyeurs, Novella, Factory Floor, Telegram and Temples were invited to play their earliest shows to an unsuspecting, but eager club crowd.
