Salomé
The Cockpit Theatre
For me Theatre is still one of, if not 'the' purest form of art. Add Oscar Wilde into the equation and you should have your shoes on by now.
This is a gorgeous production helped in no small measure by the wonderful venue. Michelle Olley kindly sent us a link to watch the full performance and we all (Phacemag) applauded. Even the window cleaner applauded, an Oscar Wilde lookalike who, - ironically spent a lengthy stretch in Reading Prison! - Anyway - Go and See Salomé - Best pp

"Salome is raw, punchy and intimate dance theatre that was absorbing, stimulating and entertaining. The company certainly seems to be on an upward curve and I am keen to see what more they can bring to their repertoire both on stage and film."

About & Booking
Based on Oscar Wilde’s play, this telling of Salomé explores the shifting relationships of power between the characters of Salomé, King Herod and Jokanaan, focussing on themes of corruption, desire and divinity. A rich and sensual dance theatre experience with live music and original score by Phillip O'Meara. The company of seven take you on an extraordinary and dark journey where music, contemporary dance and latin ballroom bring to life the characters and themes of Wilde’s tragedy.
