Four years after Whitney Euston's un-timely death Nick Broomfield's film tells her story. Filmed with compasion it explores the complex life of aurgably one of the greatest female singers of our time.
The cooperation of her family is missing but as you would expect from Broomfild (Cobain) an experienced respected documentry film maker. This is an honest attempt to find answers to what are at times, troubling questions.

Alan sifted through hours of footage to create a very interesting and important record of a cultural milestone. By this time The Beatles were a studio band. And a great one! With a great producer, probably one of the greatest. George Martin. Recommended for Beatle and music fans alike. |
I know blink and you'll miss it. It was all I could find though.
I know that they are still filming, got word on the street from my mole who is working on the film. What is common knowledge is that Julie Andrews has given her blessing to Emily Blunt which has perked everyone up....
I do like the look of it. I'm expecting a much darker London as you would expect from Burton.
What you might not know is that the original master of the cockney accent has been on set. My mole saw him jump onto a Table and dance!
Not bad for 90 something. Let's just hope he's not there as a voice coach.... pp
DUNKIRK
Dunkirk has always been the poor relation in terms of war movies over the years.
Several have been made about it and also referenced it heavily. Most recent and noteworthy being Atonement which might have influenced this film?
But has any film captured the importance of what happened at Dunkirk?
The film is released in the summer and will hopefully do the subject justice, both of my Grandads were at Dunkirk.
Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy are certainly the cream of British actors at the moment. Oh and did I mention Harry Styles?
