​ROGUE ONE - A STAR WARS STORY.

​Wow, what a return to form for Star Wars! Although make no mistake this is a stand alone film in every sense.

Properly thought out cause effect driven narrative make's a welcome return to an action film. An action film not relying on ridiculous CGI (although special effects are amazing on the Giant Imax Screen)


It was slightly strange not knowing the characters (at the outset) as one usually does in a Star Wars film. But they are so strong and brilliantly played by all the cast, it mattered little.


Also to that, the familiar Star Wars - Droids, Storm Troopers and mixed alien race filled city market places made me feel at home.... (lots of nods to the original here, which is just as it should be)


11/10 - just go and see it, our 3 d was down so I can't comment on that, but I don't like wearing the glasses anyway....
